From the Executive Director's Desk ...

We are off to an exciting New Year. 2012 promises ongoing improvements to our physical plant, with freshly painted common areas, new comforters, a newly painted classroom, and even a fresh supply of great coffee mugs. More changes are on the way. The Board of Directors, staff, and residents are actively involved in opening some new directions and opportunities. We encourage you to be a part of our growth.

We have a beginning collection of tools and a tool box, and will be reorganizing a storage area to serve as a shop. We have planters filled with winter vegetables that will be a focus of our meals and nutritional planning. We have cleaned the back area, so that residents can play hoops, and have space for outdoor recreation.

We are immensely grateful for the donations of time, talent, and energy. Our volunteers and community supporters are awesome role models for our residents, and our alumni provide encouragement and excitement about recovery.

If you have a few hours to share, come by, and visit. We're sure we can find something just perfect for you to do.
